What time should we arrive at the Ceremony Saturday?
We ask that you arrive for our ceremony no later than 4:10 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Our number one request is that you all as our guests join us as present witnesses to our marriage. We hope our ceremony can exist fully in the moment, not through your screens. We kindly (but firmly) ask that phones remain silenced and tucked away for the entirety of our ceremony. Rest assured, our professional photographers and videographers will be capturing everything. Once the ceremony is over, please take as many pictures as you’d like!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
For the wedding ceremony and reception, the dress code is black tie. Ladies are asked to wear floor length gowns, in colors apart from white and those that skew white (cream, ivory, champagne, etc). Gentlemen are asked to wear a classic tuxedo. We look forward to celebrating with everyone dressed to the nines!

Will the wedding be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be taking place indoors at the Dale Boat House, however the boat slip will stay open. Cocktail hour is partially covered on the Main Deck, and the reception is completely indoors. Ladies, we encourage you to be mindful of your choice in footwear as the perimeter of Dale is rocky in parts.
How Do I Get From the Ceremony to the Clubhouse?
While there is a footbridge that goes over the marina right to the Clubhouse (and is a great spot for pictures), we will also have trolleys outside the Boat House for those that would prefer to be driven.
Will there be parking at the Yacht Club?
While we are providing transportation to and from the hotels, there is also complimentary valet parking at Bay Head Yacht Club.
I have a dietary restriction or allergy. How does this affect my dinner selection?
We want all of our guests to enjoy their meal. The Bay Head Yacht Club can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. Please select your preferred dinner option and note any dietary restrictions or allergies on the designated line of your RSVP card. If your selection presents a conflict, we will reach out to ensure an appropriate accommodation is made.
Can I bring a "plus one"?
To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably and keep our special day intimate, your invitation will expressly note the names of those invited. We thank you for your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
Can my children come?
While we love your little ones, we have chosen to have an adults-only wedding. Parents, we welcome you to use our wedding as a well-deserved date night!
When should I book my accommodations?
Due to the fact that Bay Head and the surrounding towns are quite small, and October one of the most popular month for weddings "down the shore", we STRONGLY advise everyone to book accommodations as soon as you know that you will be attending so that you are able to secure lodging.
